System Administrator - Sofia, Bulgaria

We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

What will you be doing?

Maintain and monitor all network, security and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements.
Responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of storage, virtualized environment, servers and network devices.
Cater to doing infrastructure coordination related to design and setup activities at different stages of a project.
Support other teams on infrastructure related topics.

Work with various vendors and service providers to ensure a productive environment.
Professionally represent the infrastructure team for third-parties.
Keep track of technology trends on IT infrastructure.
Provide production application support.
Liaise on infrastructure priorities with CTO.

Desired skills and experience:

Solid technical background in a hosted services environment including infrastructure networks, hardware, software and telecommunications.
Experience with incident ticketing systems.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Server.
Good knowledge of security and firewalls.
Experience with virtualization.
Experience with Cloud services/IaaS.
Experience with application support and database administration.
